Do you ever struggle with the battle between what you think, what you feel, and what you actually do?
I know I have. I can know something is true in my mind, but based on what I've been through in life, I can struggle to actually walk that truth out at times.
The Apostle Paul describes this battle well in Romans 7:15 when he says (and I paraphrase), "I don't understand what I do...for what I want to do, I don't do. But what I HATE to do, that's the thing I keep on doing!"
What Paul is describing here is actually a divided-ness or brokenness of heart. We were never created to live from a broken heart, but a whole heart that is in connection and relationship with Jesus.
